Our Story & Purpose
The Bali Bible Study Community started small. Just a few people, searching for more. More of God. More connection. More peace.
It grew into something special—a place for anyone, no matter who they are or what they’ve been through. Loneliness, addiction, fear, abandonment, trust issues, instability, pain—whatever you’re carrying, bring it. You don’t have to hide it here.
Our purpose is simple. To walk with God. To walk with each other. Faith isn’t about being perfect. It’s about showing up, even when it’s messy. It’s about letting God move in your life, step by step.
We’re here to love. To listen. To pray. To grow. Together.
You are loved. You are called. You are not alone.

These values shape how we live, love, and grow with God. They remind us of who God is, who we are, and how we’re called to walk through life with faith and grace.
F – Faith
“Abraham believed the Lord, and He credited it to him as righteousness.” —Genesis 15:6
Faith means trusting God, even when we can’t see the outcome. It’s believing that His promises are true, even in the hardest moments.
E – Empathy
“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” —Romans 3:23
We are all imperfect and in need of grace. Empathy allows us to understand others' struggles and love them without judgment, just as God loves us.
A – Acceptance
“Yet not as I will, but as You will.” —Matthew 26:39
Acceptance is about surrendering to God’s will, even when it’s difficult. It’s trusting that His plan is better than anything we could imagine for ourselves.
R – Repentance
“Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord.” —Acts 3:19
Repentance is a fresh start—a turning back to God. It’s not just saying sorry; it’s choosing to walk in a new direction, toward Him.
G – Grace
“For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” —John 3:16
Grace is God’s undeserved kindness and love. It’s a gift freely given, reminding us that we don’t need to earn His love—it’s already ours.
O – Obedience
“If you love me, keep my commandments.” —John 14:15
Obedience is an act of love. It’s choosing to live in alignment with God’s Word, trusting that His ways lead to life and peace.
D – Delight
“Take delight in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart.” —Psalm 37:4
Delight is finding joy in God’s presence. When we delight in Him, our hearts align with His, and we discover that His desires for us are good.

The Messenger
Hi, I'm Audrey. Only child. That's me in the middle, yep.
I was raised with military discipline by a Korean father and a fighter Chinese mother who had beaten the life out of me, mentally and physically. I was violent. I wasn’t born into Christianity. In fact, I came from a Buddhist household. But in 2009, everything changed. My mother had a radical re-encounter with Jesus—she left her mother’s faith and returned to her grandmother’s. I followed her into the waters of baptism, and together, we began our walk with Christ.
But that didn’t mean life got easier.
My teenage years were marked by church on MOST days of the week, but chaos behind closed doors. Financial, emotional, mental, and physical instability. In 2020, we hit rock bottom. Bankrupcy. Sick and hopeless. At the verge of suicide, then, Jesus reached down and saved my family, and me... Again.
The devil tried hard to crush my family.
We've first-hand experienced abandonment, addiction, disappointment, and doors that wouldn’t open. So when I say you can come as you are—I mean it. This Bible study isn’t for the perfect or the pretending. It’s for the ones who feel lost, overlooked, or too far gone.
Because my testimony is this: Jesus can pick you up no matter how deep down a dark hole you’re in.
My calling is to serve those who need Him the most. My mission is to help raise strong, grounded warriors who know how to be strong and loving in Christ.
My heart especially goes out to the forgotten. The ones in prison, the sick, the poor, the orphans, and those who feel abandoned by the world. You are not alone. You are not invisible. And you are not beyond God’s reach. In fact, I will say, you have a family. I am here to be your family.
Jesus is coming. And now is the time to draw closer, grow stronger, and live with purpose.
May everything we do in Bali Bible Study and beyond, glorify our Jehovah, and prepare hearts for His return.
Peace be with us all. Shalom.

"He lifted me out of the pit of despair, out of the mud and the mire. He set my feet on solid ground and steadied me as I walked along." — Psalm 40:2
"He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners... to comfort all who mourn, and provide for those who grieve in Zion—to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes." — Isaiah 61:1–3
