As the world normalizes Halloween, this Bible study will uncover the truth behind it — exposing what’s really being worshiped when people call it “fun.” Join us in exposing what Halloween, ritual concerts, and other darkness may bring into your life in deception.

Hi everyone,
We’ll be having a Bible Study this Friday, October 31st, in Canggu.
As you know, that date falls on Halloween — and this is a strong reminder of what the Bible clearly tells us:
“Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them.” — Ephesians 5:11
“Do not turn to mediums or seek out spiritists, for you will be defiled by them.” — Leviticus 19:31
If you haven’t known it before, hear this today:
🎃 Halloween may look fun and harmless, but its roots are deeply spiritual—and not of God.
It began from ancient pagan rituals like Samhain, where people believed that the dead and evil spirits roamed the earth. They tried to protect themselves with sacrifices, costumes, and spells. Over time, these practices blended with certain Christian traditions, but the dark meaning never disappeared.
Today, Halloween still glorifies death, fear, and darkness—making witchcraft, demons, and spirits seem harmless or even fun. Yet the Bible warns us that these are real spiritual forces. What the world calls “entertainment” can open doors to spiritual deception.
So, brothers and sisters, instead of taking part in what the enemy uses as an open gateway for darkness—let’s gather to be equipped, strengthened, and covered by the Word and the Blood of Jesus.
This Friday night at 7PM, we’ll study why Halloween and other practices—like certain rituals, concerts, or temple visits—are not of God, and how to guard our hearts with real biblical foundations.
Friday sessions will be facilitated by Audrey Lim, founder of the Bali Bible Study community.
