There's a kind of freedom that feels right in the moment but slowly pulls you away from God.

Have you recently been walking in a gray area in life — worried that you're going to disappoint God, not sure if this is something you can do because it's not written clearly in the Bible?

This is where a lot of us are.

We try to figure out the line. We try to justify things. We try to tell ourselves it's okay. But deep down, something doesn't sit right.

The commandments and the law of the Lord are not there to kill you. They are not there to torture you. They are there to protect you and to guide you.

The freedom that the Lord gives you comes from His laws, from His truth, from what you read in the Bible.

That is real freedom.

Not the kind that lets you do anything — but the kind that keeps you close to Him.

Because real freedom is not about what you can do. It's about who you are.

You are not working toward victory. You are coming from victory.

And when you stay connected to your Creator, you start to see clearly. You start to walk differently. You start to live differently.

This Friday, we're going to learn about that kind of freedom. What it looks like, how to recognize it, and how to actually live it out.

Catherine Brown is joining us from Virginia, US. She lost her son. And through her grief, the Lord strengthened her. She chose to walk with Him through it — and that journey changed her.

She's not coming just to teach something. She's coming to share what it actually looks like to walk with God through pain, through questions, through real life.
