Hey there, how's it going? Does the city life make you grasp for air sometimes? It sure does feel that way for me at times.

My name is Audrey, the founder of Bali Bible Study — and most importantly, a servant of Jesus Christ.

"And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold." (Matthew 24:12, NKJV)

Do you realize how people around us, although mannerful and understanding, seem to be slightly colder by day and you start to think about the old days where we would simply strike up a conversation with a stranger without needing a second thought?

Well, on Wednesday, 2nd of September, let’s rekindle that love of Christ and encourage one another!

If you’ve been trying to:

  • Build up your relationship with Christ and feel called to do “more” but don’t know how;

  • Feel torn between pursuing your career or doing something more meaningful in your life;

  • Unsure how God “calls” you to do impactful work and wonder if the deepest desire and passion in your heart is from God;

  • Or simply feel tired and needing encouragement in your journey as a leader;

Come and join the meetup!

A short background story

I was born into a Buddhist household. My mother came to Christ when I was 9 years old. From that point on, I grew up in church. I was baptized. I knew about God.

But I did not know Him.

I did not see Him as good. I saw Him as cruel and distant. Strict and scary.

At 15, I began facing depression (I didn’t even know this term then, lol, and by 19, I was an alcoholic and an addict.

During COVID, my family and I went completely bankrupt and we lost everything while getting into $850,000 in debt. (This was our third bankruptcy, btw.)

And that was when God revealed something I had never truly seen before:

His love.

Not religion.
Not performance.
Not fear.

Love. Love that not only shows grace.... But love that purifies, and sanctifies. Love that is holy. Love that resurrects.

I encountered the character of the Lord in a way I never had — even though I had been baptized for 10 years by that time.

It took 16 years of lukewarm relationship with Him before I had the courage to openly speak about my love for Christ and “go public”. I hope it doesn't take you that long.

And once I saw and felt His amazing love and character, I couldn’t shut up! Even in my business and industry, and even to my clients!

The young lady who was once afraid of hurting someone’s feelings or losing a paycheck for proclaiming her faith or simply saying “Jesus bless you!” got knee-deep in apostolic work in the past 2 years. God took my business online completely, and divinely arranged my encounters with the most amazing people who have supported my journey in both business and ministry. Now the ministry that started from scratch has a community with nearly 1,000 people in Southeast Asia, gathering on-site and online to seek the Lord through bible studies, accountability work, and missions.

While doing so, He had resurrected not only my broken family, but also the love in my heart, my financials, and even the relationships and issues I've had for so many years, and even now He is still doing miracles in both my life and yours.

Answering my calling from the Lord has changed many people’s lives, and it’s not at all because of me, but all by the grace of Jesus Christ and for His glory. My hope is that you can also open your heart to hear that calling from God, in the specific way and form He wants! It is truly the most fulfilling emotion, one I can't explain with words no matter how good of a writer I am, and absolutely something I want others to feel.

But the bottom line point is that just like Paul (the apostle), we too, can serve God while working and making our own money (which truthfully is all God's money!) We’re honestly not asked to be a monk or a nun! All that we need to identify is the calling in our heart, and for us to open our eyes and see what God has called us to do. The joy you will feel, is indescribable.

Over the past year, God has built something beautiful in Bali—a faith-based community of over 500 people who are not just friends, but family. We’ve laughed, cried, prayed, and grown together. We hold each other accountable, encourage one another, and keep our eyes on Jesus.

“As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.” — Proverbs 27:17

What’s This About?
This is a weekly space where we come together to study the Bible, grow in faith, and connect with people who are genuinely hungry for God.

It’s not a church.
It’s not a theology class.
It’s a place for real people, walking through real life, discovering the real love of Jesus.

Whether you're just getting to know God or have been walking with Him for years—if you're hungry for more of His presence, you're welcome here.
